The Chubby Bunny Catch of the Week!

Nerding out: Geek Art Loves Josh Rogan Josh Rogan’s awesome take on classic superheroes is cool, vintage, and thoughtful all at once. He really takes care to show not just the superheroes themselves, but also tell a bit of their story and personality in one shot.

CAPSLOCK CAN BE AWESOME: Drunk Hulk interview This fake twitter account always makes me laugh in the morning. A clever tweeter (named “John Smith” on Facebook) acts as The Incredible Hulk.. if he was wasted and given internet access.

A Monster a Day: Marlowe The little monsters featured in the photographs are handcrafted by my friend Shing Kohr, and feature one particular squid-guy named Marlowe. Her series depicts his funny and sad life as a monster and is updated weekly. You can also purchase her original monsters and art on her etsy.

Japan Nostalgia: Home Soumen Shop Soumen, or Japanese wheat noodles, are delicious in the summer when served cold. An awesome alternate way to eat somen is nagashi soumen, which is served in a bamboo shoot of flowing water, and you have to catch them with your chopsticks before it flows away. A little confusing, but really fun. The traditional way to do nagashi soumen is like this, but if you’d like to do it with as little hassle as possible, you can buy an electronic home version! Just add soumen and go! Be sure to watch this video of a smaller version of it… wheee! I totally want one of these things..!

May the Force Be With you… at BREAKFAST: Star Wars Pancake Mold The title of the link says it all. Have Yoda give you sage advice while being covered in maple syrup. Freaking awesome.
